Wedding Policies and Application Process
The First United Methodist Church of Monroe is pleased to allow not just it's members but also non-members to rent either the Church or the Chapel to be used for weddings. The Fellowship Hall may also be rented for rehearsal dinners and receptions. The seating allowance and fees are outlined in our "Building Request Form". The answer to many questions can be found there as well as in our "Wedding Policies". Links to both of these are shown below as well as a link to our "Consent and Release Agreement". The "Building Request Form" and the "Consent and Release Agreement" are required to be signed and returned to the church.
You may call the church at 770-267-6525 to make an appointment to be given a tour of the church. The office hours of operation are Monday-Thursday from 9 am-5 pm (closed for lunch from Noon to 1 pm) and Friday from 9 am-1 pm. We ask that you please read the documents provided here and somewhat familiarize yourself with their contents before making an appointment. Originals of the below documents can also be procured at the church.
