    Living a Life that Matters

    On August 9, 2015, we will kick off our yearly Stewardship Campaign, entitled Living a Life that Matters.  While stewardship is an everyday endeavor, we feel it is important to spend some specific and much focused time together as a church body in prayer and study regarding our stewardship goals.

    We are in a very blessed and joyous time at Monroe FUMC.  We have already seen God work abundantly at this church and in our community.  It should give each of us great excitement over what is to come in the next few years, and what we can offer to the generations that are to come beyond us.

    On August 9th, we will start the campaign with a dinner at 5:30 in the Fellowship Hall and a special concert with singer/songwriter Keith Elder beginning at 6:30.

    There will be weekly-themed studies and worship services. Our specific focus for the entire church will be on the goals God will have for the future of Monroe FUMC.

    August 16, 2015--Delivering the Goods, Being a Fruitful Steward, Matthew 25:16-23
    August 23, 2015--Leftovers Again?, Guest Pastor - Phil Schroeder, Matthew 22:15-22
    August 30, 2015--More & More & More &, Entering into Joy with the Lord, Matthew 25:29-30
