About Us
The “Forget-Me-Not” Ministry was founded in January 2010 embracing a continual mission in ministering to those who have experienced changes in their life, either expected or unexpected. Those in need of this ministry may be residing in their homes, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities.
Volunteers are assigned in visiting home-bound persons on a regular basis with the intent to develop caring and meaningful relationships with not only the home-bound person, but also members of the person’s family.
As we grow older, we begin to lose our independence and often times feel lonely and forgotten. Older citizens truly enjoy companionship with others and look forward to visits by family, friends, and especially children and young adults.
The “Forget-Me-Not” Ministry is a positive avenue that you and your family can take in ministering to others. Through visitations and companionship to the homebound, new relationships are established, and God’s love is shared in each and every encounter.
Many true blessings are showered to our homebound members through this ministry. They look forward to the visits, cards, and phone calls. You too will be truly blessed simply through the ministry that you share with each of them.
