Wednesday Night Supper and Various Programs for all Ages
At Monroe First United Methodist Church we have both a delicious and exciting evening of meals and special offerings each Wednesday of the School Year. From Labor Day until Memorial Day, our professionally catered Wednesday Night Suppers are a great time of really good food and a relaxed social atmosphere. Reservations for the Fellowship Meal are always encouraged: Please email the church office at office@fumcmonroe.org, call at 770-267-6525, or fill out a Wednesday Night Supper Reservation Card found in the Church Sanctuary pews. Our monthly menu may be found in the recent editions of The Messenger newsletter or within the church’s web site.
Our Children’s Music Ministry is hard at work on Wednesday nights, with Tone Chime practice beginning at 4:15p, followed by Carol and Cherub Choirs meeting at 5:00p. During these rehearsals children learn the many ways to worship God and the joy that comes with doing so.
Following our Wednesday Night Fellowship Supper is a wide variety of interesting and exciting activities for all ages:
Beginning at 6:30p activities for the children, under the dynamic leadership of Corrie Beth Noll and her capable staff, always have creative, fun and Christian-based opportunities planned.
At 6:30p our Youth Ministry, under the guidance of Youth Minister Tim Hildebrandt, offers dynamic gatherings and life-relevant group gatherings for all High School aged young adults.
Also at 6:30p an Adult Bible-based study opportunity is offered under the spiritual guidance and teaching of Pastor Dane or other experienced and Christ-grounded teachers. Intentionally bringing God’s Word to life with immediate and personal application in a relaxed and conversational manner will be experienced in these sessions.
The 8:28 Praise Band and Team practice, plan and coordinate for the upcoming weekly 8:28 Praise and Worship Service staring at 7:00p.
Monroe First’s Chancel Choir, under the direction of Rev. Joe Buffaloe, meets and practices weekly at the 7:30p hour.
