Margaret is a native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, a graduate of Central Gwinnett High School, the University of Georgia and Emory University, Candler School of Theology. She is married to Dr. Samuel Adams, Jr., a veterinarian who works in New York City as Director of Animal Research at the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Brooklyn. They have five children, Chuck, Lynda, Kathy, Rob, and Leigh, and one granddaughter, Brooke. Margaret is senior pastor and preaches at the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services. Her strengths include pastoral care, community outreach, and evangelism. |

Joe is a native of Alabama, a former member of the South Georgia Conference, and currently an elder in the North Georgia Conference. He holds degrees from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, Emory University, and Georgia State University. Joe is married to Cathy, and they have a son, Jonathan. At FUMC, Joe is responsible for developing and directing the Chancel Choir. |

Corrie Beth Hendrix took on the exciting role of Director of Music for Children and Youth in July 2007. She is originally from Saluda, South Carolina and graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. Corrie Beth recieved her Masters Degree from the University of Georgia and now offers voice and piano lessons in Monroe. "I am so excited to be a part of the staff here at MFUMC. I feel the children and youth are integral to the church and it's worship, and I cannot wait to see what God has in store." |

The Preschool Director is Mrs. Marion Fallin. She has been teaching children for the past 18 years. She has a B.S. Degree in Home Economics and Early Childhood Education. She is married to Rev. Clay Fallin who is Minister of Music and Youth at Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church in Bostwick. She has two children Anna and James. Jessie has worked for FUMC for over 20 years. He keeps the main church building, including the Fellowship Hall and kitchen, neat and clean. In addition, he is responsible for our Youth House, Missionary House, and Adult Center. He cuts and trims the grass and hedges for all the church properties. He also sets up for all functions, both church-related and private. Jessie meets every challenge with a willing attitude and a smile. |
