Cooking for Others
On the fourth Thursday of each month, a group of volunteers along with our church staff prepare sack meals for the community. Along with a smile, the meals consist of hamburgers or hot dogs cooked on the grill (yum!), chips, dessert and water. The meals are served on the front lawn of the church from 4pm - 6pm and are free to anyone who comes along. Donations of food items are always welcome and can be dropped off at the church office Monday - Thursday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm (please note - the office closes for lunch from noon to 1:00am). Items that we need:
- Packaged hot dogs
- Boxes of small bags of chips
- Little Debbie snack (or something similar)
- Fresh Fruit (such as apples or oranges)
- Bottled Water
If you would like to volunteer to help prepare the meals and/or to serve, contact Ned Butler. Set-up begins at 3:30pm.
